Just posted my first blog, to nowhere apparently...
To recap, i wanted to thank everyone who sent me a blog,i felt very special.
And also,i really enjoyed the who tv session, it was great, a bit scary but cool.
i hope everyone's safe tonight,i know you've had some very bad weather.
i hope i can get to grips with this, Rachel opened the blog site for me last night, and i've had troubles today just accessing my own blog. Then spent an hour writing my first blog, only to have it disappear before my eyes.
i've been working on some songs i wrote in France last week on a camping holiday with my girlfriend Rene,that's where my fishing stories came from. Back now, and back in my studio at home, i love it in here,anyway, i'll save that for another time.

Sounds like that was a frustrating computer experience. Welcome to the blog world. I am new to it too. Just got on cuz of Rachel. I don't have a blog site or anything, I just check out things at Rachels and Pete's, and now yours. Well, for all your trouble, someone's listening. 19 hits yesterday. Not bad for a first day.

Never fear, Mikey, your blog from yesterday still exists. It's called "hi" and it's there on my screen, seems to be archived or something. I really am learning as I go, too. For example, Rachel knows how to put up music, but I don't have that figured out yet, or perhaps mine was the wrong format. I'll learn.
And so will you!
We survived the tornado here in Minneapolis, but it was nasty. I was still shaking today from the fear, adrenaline, and relief all mixed together.
Just purchased Rachel's Cigarettes and Housework on Napster...do you have an album I can download as well?
Enjoyed the show looking forward to the next If I can make it!

When I first posted on my blog site, I lost it too! After that, I type everything out in a document first, then cut and paste.
Hi Mikey - I know what you mean about these blogs. I consider myself somewhat of a smart person, however, it took me awhile to figure out how to set this up and I lost what I had written too...bummer. Well keep up the good work.
Mikey, I really enjoyed watching you on WhoTV! You can now add "Chat Show Host" to your long list of talents as you filled in superbly while Rachel was off camera. Your songs and performance were both excellent and you can add me to the list of people who will buy your CD. As a songwriter and a guitar player, I especially liked your discussion about the creative process and about your favorite alternate guitar tunings. I wore a purple shirt in your honor today! Can't wait to watch your act again!
