Back home now...
I had an excellent time on IN THE ATTIC the other night, thankyou everyone for tuning in, and I was really glad that you all liked my new tune 'We will fix it'. I'll work on my new punky tune 'Bacteria' this week, and see if I can get it finished for next week. It is such a pleasure and honour to sit and listen to Rachel, Pete and Simon, they all performed brilliantly.
I am very lucky, I've said it before and I'll probably say many times again.
It's snowing very lightly again here, winter just doesn't seem to want to lift, I can't wait for spring.
Anyway, this is just a short blog to say thanks for all the shout's, and I'm glad you all enjoyed it, hope you all have a great weekend.
I've posted up another drawing from an old songbook, this one's a bit more colourful, looks like felt tip pen's were used. Let me know what you think?
I'm going to get back to work on my new tune now, hope this find's you well, take care all and GMaS.

Mikey, you were awesome on ITA this week! I have had your new song We Will Fix It stuck in my head all week! That's a good thing, I think! I can't to hear another new one next week!
Carrie
I forgot to add, I LOVE all the artwork you have been putting up. You should bring one along with you to feature on ITA sometime!
Hi Mikey, ITA was great, as always. The four of you really gel and it would make such a great TV show with a few additional slots. Rachel seems really fun to be with and I feel really privileged to have been 'ITA' with her at Basement Jam. I'm getting back to normal now we have moved so will be Blogging more. Like your new song and love Tourist which you played on Wednesday. Like your drawing. Must talk about a tattoo for me. Anyway have a good weekend and keep working on Bacteria. All the best. Mark
Hi Mikey,
I think this one is more vivid than the others. I like the color. That is a good idea of you bringing in your artwork on ITA. You can have a new segment called The Artist Corner.
Yes keep working on that song! I would love to hear it this coming week. Will you be putting your new songs on IAC? Then we can hear it whenever.
Have a great weekend. Hope the snow goes away.

Hi Mikey,
LOVE this drawing. Reminds me of a superhero and his sidekick...Like the guy smashing a champagne bottle over the turntable. Hey, there's an old expression. Does anyone remember turntables????
I hope you all don't think us "pratts" (brit term, so not sure of spelling) when we tell you about feeds. I, for one, thought I was just trying to help!! But, yes, I did sniffle a little, when it frooze. But, the loop is wonderful.
Please thank Pete & Rachel for me...You are all the best!!
xx

You're an insanely talented artist. I am jealous! This is a very cool picture...the colors are crazy! Love it.
Good job again on ITA, you and everyone else did so well...it was so fun to watch you guys together like that. Wednesday is going to become my new favorite day of the week. :o)
Mikey,
Keep up the good work on ITA. My first impression on your latest drawing is that it is something to do with frying an albatross egg !!

oops, picture is actually naked female, over a small stove...he he he, I am such a nutter. Sorry ;( ):
Yowza! Felt tip. Not a bad title for this one. Woman and albatros (sp)(?) and either an insty-breasted man or, yep, another woman pours wine or oil over the pan on the stove (I'm with you) and up go the flames. Burst!
We all (I think I can speak) enjoy your good fortune, Mikey. Without it, we wouldn't hear your new tunes. We wouldn't see "felt tip". And so much more beauty.
Keep penning and strumming and storming and singing, and spring will appear.

Yes, this is colorful! I get a sense of fire, and a strong sexual vibe, but also some sort of disturbance. Because of the color, it feels almost like a comic book illustration. Interesting!
I'm working way too hard these days, so ITA was a treat and a half. Thanks for sharing this with us. Love, Brina
Hi Mikey
I missed you In The Attic.
Wish I could have been there!
Interesting artwork, as usual.
Quite the melange of images!
Have a lovely weekend.
Love
Dale
Mikey,
You should never let a seagull do the ironing.
I didn't manage to see ITA last week, are you gonna put "We Will Fix It" up on IAC? I'll catch the next episode and let you know what I think.
Busy, busy, busy,
Jack
In The Attic everyday I say!
(right, like you guys don't have anything else to do)
Nicely done Mikey, looking forward to more.
John
Hi Mikey,
I would just like to second the idea of putting "We Will Fix It" up on IAC. I would love to hear that version you did on ITA again. It's just a fantastic song that I can't seem to get out of my head.
Much Love,
-Natalie
Hi Mikey,
I put the two new songs onto IAC today. Hope you can listen to them and let me know your thoughts.

I also have the links to the songs on my Power Chords blog.
Hi Mikey, I see that you are supporting Casbah Club at the Riga Music Bar. On Casbah Clubs website it says the gig is on 7 May on Ticketmaster it's 10 May. Which is the right one? Mark
Mikey:
That sure was fun, the latest ATTIC. I was finally able to see one of those shows, though it was on the loop.
You folks were entertaining.
