Flying lesson.
Here's some polaroid's Rene took of me before I had a flying lesson, my Dad had bought for me as a Christmas present. It was a couple of years ago, I've got short hair, I quite like it.
I'm nicely colour coded with the plane, as you can see.
When I was a child, I wanted to be a pilot, as well as an astronaut and racing driver(formula one), when I grew up, but now that I have grown up, I can say that although I loved the flying lesson, I haven't taken any more.
I really like these photo's though, I had a great day.

Okay, GMaS? I'm unhip. Nice lessons in flight. I probably seem manic by now. Taking a needed break, and just finding here interesting posts. The art especially (a soft spot).

Mikey, I'm terrified of heights. The owner of our company is a pilot, he has his plane in a hanger accross the street at John Wayne Airport and he flies regularly. My worst fear is that he calls me out for a meeting up in Tahoe (where he has a house)...
My brother-in-law has a pilot's license, although, he is a commercial electrical contractor by trade, his dream was to fly lear jets, he's flown a lear a number of times, but not full time. I guess it's something that some of us just have to do.
I prefer ground level, with a nice cup of tea..

I've never been on a small single engine plane. Don't know if I'd be thrilled or terrified. It looks like you were having fun.
We still like you even without your pilot's license.
I was able to go on a Piper Warrior when my son was learning to fly. His teacher invited me because at the time I had never been up in any kind of plane. I got seasick or airsick. Never went back. I'll bet you would have made a great pilot!
You should write a song about flying!

I would like to fly in one of those ballons or zeppelins, but I have never found out how....I haven't looked for it seriously..

I have always wanted to fly, jump out of an airplane (God knows why?), parasail, hang glide, etc.
All that & I'm terrified of heights!
The only solo flying I've ever done is in my dreams & I do that quite often & very well!
I did notice the colour coordination before you mentioned it!

Hey Justin, sounds like a cool film, actually I kept getting the urge when I was up there, to dive bomb the plane, but I didn't, in fact I kept it very hidden. Great experience though.

Hey Mike, sorry to hear about your dream mate, as for when you said you were wet through this morning, I thought at first that you had wet the bed through fear, if you've been keeping up with my Indonesian blog, you would know that one night or morning, I dreamt that I was on the top of the world, actually a huge mountain, and pissing over the whole world, I woke up, and found that I had pissed all over myself, ironic eh. I'm off to see the New Pornographers on Saturday (2nd overall on IAC currently, check them out if you haven't already), and the band I'm promoting, Blonde From Fargo, is floating around the low 70's on the Alternative chart. (They have made 21 on Alternative Modern). Nothing to complain about then, #7!!!
