WHAT NO PICTURES...

Hey everyone, thanks for the great post's, I've had a wonderful weekend, and got back to work today on the new song 'Bacteria', it's all going well, but I don't know if it will be ready for this week's show, hey, we'll see.
I visited my brother Shaun on the weekend, Jed is amazing as usual, he's really growing fast, he's actually the same weight as a baby twice his age, but he's not fat with it, and he is constantly smiling and laughing. I got some more word's for my song for Jed, that song is growing steadily.
It was Indy's third guitar lesson this evening, he's doing really well, but isn't practicing enough. It's great spending time with him though, he's really funny.
I don't seem to able to post a picture today, that's odd, oh well, I'll try again tomorrow.
About the gig thingy, I will be supporting the Casbah Club, if it's on the 7th, I'll have to check it with Simon, stay posted. I really enjoy doing them gig's, the audience's are brilliant.
So, hope this blog find's you all well, take care, can't wait for the next ITA on Wednesday, have you got any idea's about what song or song's I should play if I don't play my new one?
GMaS.

Hi Mikey,

I fell on the ice today, so I'm home on the mend!

I have a hankering to hear your sweet voice on "Without Your Love." Is that possible?

So glad you're enjoying your nephews. They sound terrific. Indy is a nephew, too, right? I thought so.

Be well, love to you and Rene.

Brina (sore! I fell on my coccyx!!!!)

Hi Mikey!

Yes, I have to agree with Brina. "Without Your Love" would be great to hear. I have it in the car and I love it. I would also like to hear "We Can Fix It" again.

Glad you had a good weekend. I am looking forward to episode #2.

Dear Mikey

I want to hear "Bacteria" so badly - but only a good, finished version, so don't hurry on it.
I hope I'll be able to latch onto the computer at work before anyone else...
I do have seniority, though!

Like I tell Rachel & Pete, you may play whatever your heart desires!
To me, that is what music & art is all about.

The skiing is awesome, but the avalanche risk is very high. We have to stay out of the unpatrolled areas.
I have a snow vacation spot picked out for you & Rene next ski season!
(Nowhere near any avalanche shute...)

Hope to see you above the top floor.

Take care & regards to Rene.

Hi Mikey,

I promise if you come give me guitar lessons, I will practice every day! I will cut my nails short to stubs, too. What a gift it would be to learn from you! I have the cheapie Epiphone version of your beautiful starburst Gibson. I bought before I knew you had that one. Then, last IAC season when I saw your video playing "White Stripes" (my fav), I was pretty excited to see a guitar that looks just like mine! Trouble is, I seem to have no intuition to learn, and have not yet found a teacher.

Enough of my pining and whining. Just wanted to say hello and tell you that I would love to watch you Plunder some Covers on the next show. :-) How about Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash? Yee-haw! Or how about Norwegian Wood?

Lastly, regarding photos: You probably ran out of Blogger's allocated photo space. This just means you need to go to www.photobucket.com and sign up for a free image hosting account. Then, next time you link to a photo, you will be linking to the images stored there.

Warm Regards,
-Natalie

I'm sorry, but my computer won't play songs from the Internet.
I just read Gary's comment.
Is "We Can Fix It" about the poor whale that swam up the Thames?

If I can't hear the song, is there anywhere I can find the words, at least?

Thanks
Dale

Thanks for the add over at MySpace, that was fast! I know we do some spacecraft trippy stuff but if you ever feel the need to step out and lend a freaky loop or other demented sample to our cyber collaborations, we'd love to have ya!

Mikey,

I stand by Ventura Highway! Is Jed going to be a rugby player, do you think? *wink*

Keep at it Mikey. Oh, if you want to hit #1 on IAC, ask "Heavy Rotation" to add your song to their play list. They've just added Blonde From Fargo, and we jumped up to #4. (And yeah, I'm all excited like the silly girl I can be. :p)

I'm gonna at least catch the loop of ITA this week, come hell, high water and all everything else. I promise!

Song ideas...from The Attic, ... Mikey sings The Who's "Squeeze Box" with mandolin instead of banjo with Pete on chromatic harmonica.. I think your soulful high notes for the part that goes "squeeze me... come on and sqeeze me" would sound excellent..

Dear Mikey, Play well, have fun, and yes, I'd LOVE a shout-out. Only I didn't bruise my tailbone or coccyx, I acdtually bruised my sacrum. That's good, 'cause a sacrum will heal faster than a tailbone. Already I'm doing much better!

My right wrist did get bruised too, so I can't really play piano at the moment. That's frustrating! I've been told that my personality changes (for the worse) when I don't play piano for a few days.

Love ya, Brina

Mikey,

I'm begging you... there, I'm actually on my knees here, DON'T DO SQUEEZE BOX. Oh GOOD GOD do I hate that song. I'm sorry, I really do. Please, please, please, no squeeze box. Makes me cringe. Oh my, no...

*a little traumatized by the suggestion, but will survive*

Jack

P.S. If Pete's responsible for that one, please give him a little tap on the nose from me. Bad Pete! Bad!

Mikey,

I'm deadly serious when I say:

IF YOU PLAY SQUEEZEBOX I'LL COME TO ENGLAND JUST TO VOMIT ON YOUR SHOES.

...and yeah, while you're in them! :p

I really like "We Will Fix It". I now see what all the big deal was about. I've been pushing "Feel My Heat"... glad to see it's up to #7. Please put up "We Will Fix It"... I'll see if I can get you a number 1.

Just no squeeze box!

GARY: If he plays squeeze box, I'm coming after your shoes as well!

Hi Mikey,

Thank you for doing "We Will Fix It" again! That song sounds so complete when you play it. I can't imagine it with bass & drums. Are you going to add bass & drums to it?

You, Rachel, & the whole crew had me laughing so hard yesterday---I've never had so much fun up someone's arse.

What a cool show. I feel proud that my bangers got to be part of it. (still cracking up every time I think of that)

All the Best,

Great show Mikey! I cranked the loop and was singing along with you in the shower! I put on a great show for everyone in my apartment building! (The walls are really thin!).
So now you'll probably have a following in Taipei!
I liked your bit about rubbing an apple on a wart and then feeding it to a pig!
I'm in Taipei for 6 months - and I'm really impressed w/their recycling system - you separate your paper, glass and cans, then you further separate your food: uncooked fruits and veggies are used for compost and cooked scraps are given to the pigs!
It's very clean here (except for pollution) there's no litter or graffitti.
Looking forward to hearing "Bacteria" and your song for Jed.
Take care,
Sue (The other one)
