First rays to last light.

I done it, stayed awake and watched the race, it was incredible, the best race of the season, and still it was a battle keeping my eyes open nearing the end of the race, at eight in the morning. The sun was rising, and I went to bed. Only got a few hours sleep, and brother Shaun came over. We had some breakfast together, and Rene set off on a solo shopping mission, because I only slow her down.
Me and Shaun went over to beach with our fishing rods, and sat in the afternoon sun, trying to catch the elusive Southern scarlet herring. Sorry, that was a red herring.
But just before the sun set, I got a bite, and pulled in a beautiful little sea bass, he was too small for the pan, so I gave him a kiss and returned it to the water. But it made a perfect end to a simple day.
The sun sets on the estuary outside our house are truly spectacular, I frequently feel obliged to photograph them. I'll post more soon.
Looking forward to Tuesday's show, make sure you all catch it, ' In the Attic '. mikey

Oh beautiful pictures (of the sea and horses) Mikey - thank you.
You kissed a fish? ::sigh::
You are really some kinda guy!
(Does Rene know you do these things?? LOL!).
Maybe you were a Native American (American Indian - whatever - you know what I mean) in your past life- the way you revere nature (and are so resourceful). I bet you were.
I wish I could be there live w/ you guys on Tuesday, but I have to go back to work.
I'm excited though, because I'm bringing my guitar this week - my lovely Martin - and I'll be singing and teaching children songs and doing a bit of music therapy (to help these 7-8 year old kids who have behavioral problems...7 boys, 1 girl).
I'm very excited about it.
You and Rachel inspire me alot!!
(And Pete too, as he always has).
I've been writing (well, starting) alot of songs - even funny ones for my daughter. I like writing silly stuff with her.
Take care,
Sue

Mikey - watched the re-run of In The Attic, great show. I thought the first song the two of you sang was very soulful. Have you heard of "Everything But The Girl"? Ben Watt and Tracy Thorn? I loved them, have most of their CD's. Too bad they aren't around making music still, they were just starting to break America with "Miss You, Like The Deserts Miss the Rain". Have you ever thought about producing a song with rachel on hers or your cd? EBTG went away and they had some really lovely soul-driven ballads. Not that I'm saying you should sound like them, but I think if you and Rachel did an upbeat soulful song like that one, it would be really well recieved. Tell me to mind my own if this sounds wierd..

Anyhow, looking forward to another episode. It makes me smile when you mention the name of the person who posted when speaking with Rachel or Pete. Cheers mate.

Mikey,
I was watching the loop also today. I love that video. Some of my workers were watching too, and they commented on how great you and Rene look together. They said "I remember when me and so and so did that" "What a comfortable feeling this video is giving me" Thanks michael :)
P.S Not to sound whimpy, but it brought a tear to my eye and I got choked up too. I called Sherry up right away and told her I loved her. Thanks again michael :)

I have said it before, you have such a lovely way about you. Your laugh, your music, just the way you are. Rachel is lucky to have a friend like you. Why can't I find a guy like you? Rene is lucky too! :)

Keep being you.

Hi Kevin, we really did enjoy it, thanks for watching mate, hope you see the next one.
Thanks Suesjoy, do you know, I've always liked the idea of being a native American in a former life. Cool. I do love Marins, your job sounds brilliant, I once helped out with a music theropy course, it was great to see people empowered by music. Good luck with the writing, take care.
Hi ya lucy, glad the cheesey egg went down well, hope you had a great party, I did take that picture, I take loads, I'll post more up. Get back on with your work, don't worry about my eyes, though, thanks for caring and complementing. Regardz
