Staying awake...

I took this picture, in the ' New forest ', on my birthday. We were camped behind the tree's, in the distance. I love it there, even when it pours down, like it did.
My parents used to take us camping here when we were children, all five of us. Rene and I rediscovered the place a few years back, and have been back every year since, sometimes twice, I've even written a song here, called 'White Stripes', after the road markings, not the band, although I really love the band.
I've been out with Shaun in the morning, and then went shopping with Rene, and bought a baby bath for Shaun. He showed me the nursery and all the things he's been getting for the baby. Which still hasn't shown its lovely face yet.
So I'm staying up through the night to watch the formula one Japanese grand prix, it's being repeated at a sensible hour, but I prefere to catch it live. So here I am, on the blog, trying to stay awake.
I should of posted a more exciting picture, this one's sending me to sleep. Must stay awake, only one hour to go, to high speed racing action. Give me a shout.

I love formula one races, but I have basic cable so I all see is that 24 hour one in germany, I forget what it is called. That looks like some beautiful scenery. It is not quite that green in southern california as you can imagine. I can see how you can get inspired in a place like that.
Hope you stay awake!

Hey Mikey, the horses are very pretty, and yes, sleep-inducing! Stay awake! you have a race to watch!

I saw two deer just now when I was driving my son to a friend's house. He's in a band, and they are prepping for their first real gig! You'd like this. It's a gig at a church on Friday night, at a party called a "lock-in" for some pre-teen kids. It's an overnight party, they have to stay IN the church, so the church guy hired my son's band to play. It starts at 11 p.m.

The band plays mostly originals and a few fun covers. It should be a blast for them, but hey, it's a captive audience, huh?

Love it!

My son is almost 16, plays bass, and drums, and sings lead, and writes a bunch of the songs.

I'm proud of him, needless to say. His comment upon hearing Rachel the first time (I had downloaded "Spin," I think, or another one of the demos she put up for us bloggers): "She's heavy as hell!"

Loved that.

Hugs,
Brina

Well about your hair...I love it short and you would look very good if you cut it. But from one who has had her hair as her signature for years and just chopped it to my shoulders...your choice. Either way you are you and I think you look great with both!

I dated a guy back in Art/Boarding school who played the Guitar and Tuba (yes TUBA! Well someone has to!) He was a total rock and roll long hair and it fit his band perfectly. He just cut it last year at the suggestion from his wife to try something new and now I wish he had cut it when I dated his...Roarrrrr Ha Ha just trying to make you laugh!

I just want to paint that pic. It is beautiful!!

Have fun staying awake. My daughter Alexis has a 103.8 F temp...so I am awake here at 3am watching her for the next hour, so that is MY excuse!

Cheers! Thanks for the read.

Molly.

Mikey!!
Looking forward to seeing you Tuesday! My husband stays awake for motorcycle racing (he loves Ducatis especially)

My daughter Emma is your newest fan, she's 10 and started guitar lessons about 8 months ago. She really likes it a lot so my fingers are crossed that she'll stick with it. She loves your guitar and watching/listening to you play, though she can't see much as she is in school when you are "on"....
BTW~I told Rachel that you'd tell her about "Dementors" from the Harry Potter books (we read them all too!) if she doesn't know already.
Seems she had a person very much like one of them, visit her blog this weekend.....I instructed her to simply eat a bit of chocolate!

Good luck awaiting the baby!!Any names picked out? If it's a girl, "Elizabeth" is lovely....LOL

Take Care~
Elizabeth

Thanks Kevin, I did, and it was the best race all season. It was so thrilling, I watched the highlights again this evening. I wish you could of seen it.
Hi Brina, thanks it was a great race. I love seeing deer, or any wild animals. Your son sounds massively talented, he must be from good stock. You sound full of pride, he's very lucky to have you.
Hi Molly, I hope Alexis is better very soon, I know that children can survive higher body temperatures than adults, because I was very ill as a child.(get the violins out)For four years I was in and out of hospital, but I got better, and the experiences made me what I am today, I don't mean to scare you, he, he. Take care.
Any earlier Ticharu, and you'd have to get up before you got to bed. Sorry, I'm a night person really, theres something about the early morning hours though, very magical, in your great place. Thanks mate.
I love your comments Lucy, you make my feel very special indeed. Say hi from me to Laura and your Mum, hope you didn't wreck the house with the sleepover thing. And I bet you made lovely cheesey egg, probably the best ever. Thanks again, and again.
Hey Claire, I used to really hate going to bed when I was growing up, I thought I was missing out on something. But to tell the truth, I like staying up late, there's complete silence and calm. Don't worry, your old before you know it, then you can do what you want for the rest of your life. Cool.
I had a great day yesterday, and a good one today thanks.
Thanks Elizebeth, and many thanks to my newest fan, Emma, hope the guitar lessons go well for you. Me and Rene love all the Harry Potter books, and the films, I'll tell Rachel all about them, very good. Lovely idea for the name, I'll pass it on, take care.
Thankyou Michael, I'll be posting more up soon, dream away.
