Thanks Bloggers...

I got very confused whilst reading my comments on my 'Help me blogger's' post. It was pointed out to me how lucky I am to have such an army of loyal and talented helpers, and I totally agree, and to all of you, thankyou very much.
It did leave me asking more questions, so they shall have to be asked, and answered.

I've just watched the qualifing for the Formula One race in China, and will set my alarm for the race live at 6am tomorrow, I prefere watching the race live. Its the last race of the season, and the last time the cars will use V10 engines, they are changing them to V8 to try and slow them down. So, I'm really looking forward to it.

On a darker note, Brendan, Rene's brother( who was helping me do my DVD's ) has told me that he can't help as much as he has been doing, because of other commitments. This will slow down my production a little, but he has very kindly lent me his camera, and I do have some editing equipment on my laptop. So, the films will continue, at what standard, we will have to wait and see.
The photo is a recent sunset I caught on the beach, I took several pictures that evening just minutes apart, but looking back on them, they look like different places, they are all so different. I'll post the others up some time. Thanks again for everyone's help.
Give me a shout,
mikey

Hi Mikey-
Love the pic. I feel like I'm there.
Do you live in Southend? I thought you lived in London.
That's very sad about the fire on the pier - and amazing that you made your video days before it burned down!
I think it's funny that a nature boy like you likes Formula One racing!

Hope you have a nice Sunday.
See ya.

Thanks for the photo. I work with a guy who's really into F1, all motor racing in fact. Every year he gets seats at the Long Beach Grand Prix. He's a real nice guy.

The time differences throw me sometimes, we usually have a lull on the blogs late afternoon when everyone is asleep in the U.K. then we see a nocturnal post from The Blogfather trying to stay awake for F1. Cool man!

Hope I was able to help. Web stuff can get really complicated when there is more than one way to do something. Matt should be able to get you what you're looking for.

I've just re-recorded Stephani's song for the 4th time, 4th different key... This one, I should be able to sing... It needs Bass, and I'll have to figure something out on the keyboard. I think I'lll have to pickup a cheap bass guitar for simple bass lines cause I'm crap on keyboards.

Hope everything is well with you, was nicely surprized by a post from Rene today. Cool! She likes your nickname.

oh mikey,
I just left you a long message. Everthing got deleted.
Here goes again:
Dodgeball is a real sport.Just saw it on ESPN. would you watch it? Bearded and long haired men and women. CRAZY
Husband and kids say hi!
Butterflies are free was a movie from the 70's. Starred Goldie Hahn as a free spirited hippy chick who turns on a newly independent blind guy.
Love the picture. I love the ocean. My parents should have named me Julia.
Hope this finds you well. Sorry about your frustration. Your films will get done. Everything happens for a reason, this too shall pass, etc. (things my late father would have said).
I really wish you the best.

Hey anyone care to help ME this time? I am trying to figure out where you put the html for videos on my blog to put it in the sidebar. I thought I would ask here as well as on my blog because perhaps Mikey would also like to know!

Up late..My husband has Strep Throat Mikey so he really IS very sick! SO I have to medicate him in about a half hour so I thought I would just stay up and try to figure this out.

Have fun watching the race!-Molly

BalarinaGurl,
your particular blogger template does not appear to come with a "LINKS" section already, so you'll need to add it manually.

Go into Blogger Settings, choose Template, Edit Current, you'll see the source code for your template, before editing, copy and paste the contents to notepad or other html editor to keep as a backup.

Next, you'll want to look for the part that says

!-- Begin #sidebar

the sidebar will contain several elements, starting with your profile

-- Begin #profile-container --

under it you'll see a section for previous posts.

Before that part, you will want to insert the following:

< h6 >Links< / h6 >'
< ul >
< li >< a href="http://news.google.com/">Google News< /a>< /li>

Then, all you do is replace the google link with links of your own, using your own URL's.

Hope that helps.

Dear Mikey

Beautiful photo! I do miss the wonderful sunsets I used to see back east. Surprisingly, the Candian Rockies generally lacks in good sunsets. They have everything else a nature-lover would like, though!

The other evening my older daughter & friend met up with a black bear a couple of blocks away while out on a stroll. It is the time of year the bears are looking for food in order to stock up for winter hibernation (fruit trees, berries, garbage...) The kids ran all the way home!

Gary you are sweet! I DO know how to do the links...the only problem is this is a video link. I can get it to play in my blog but not over on the side. I think I have to edit the size and I am not sure what to. Do you know what to and exactly where I place the video link info? All my girlfriends are out today and this is one of my more slow days to try! Besides I am nursing my poor husband back to health so I have to hang out at home! Thanks!!

Any time Johanna in Vista, thankyou.
Hi Sue, yeah, I live in Southend, but it's very close to London. Glad you like the photo, nature boy loves racing cars but can't drive, I am a little strange granted. Thanks.
Hi Gary, thanks mate, I have real problems with my bass too. I've got some great sounds on the keyboard, but its not the same. Even with an actual bass guitar in your hands, you need to have an idea about rhythm. My bass parts on my home studio are very basic. Thanks mate.
Hi Izygrl, that is so enoying isn't it, but good girl for doing another one. Hi crazy husband, hi crazy kids, now I understand. I haven't seen the film, I'll check it out. Thanks for your great words of encouragement, take care.
Thanks Molly, hope your husband gets well soon. What a florence Nightingale you are, keep up your good work, and thanks.
Hi ya Lucy, the baby is taking its time, have a great time on holiday. Get some good photo's and take care.
Thanks Elizebeth A, you always make me laugh. See you on wednesday.
Don't you worry about a thing Lucy, they were not bad. Thankyou though.
Hi Dale, hope you can get your fill of sunsets here. Strange that, though. I love the bear story, I could almost picture it, I would have run home as well. How cool, thanks for that.
Thanks Storm, I'm glad you like it.
