HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY BLOGGER'S.

So, Happy Mother's Day all you mother's out there, I hope you all have a great day. Rene's cooking a special lunch for her Mum, I'll stay and eat with Rene and her parent's and then go over to brother Shaun's later, where my Mum will be.
I've been working on a new song just lately, well actually I started it just after returning from my mum's new boat, last sunday. It's about my mum and her boat, and the way I'm feeling I suppose, it's a bit more folky. Rene say's that's it sound's really beautiful, but Rene alway's know's the right thing to say.
Last night, we watched some film's and had some chinese food, it was lovely. But the whole day was precious because of the quiet, no builder's. Sunday morning was lovely as well, until Rene realised that the clock's here have gone back an hour, I think we are the only country in the world that does it, it just confuses everybody, so she had to speed up cooking.
Anyway, I'm just about to eat now, so, have a great day everyone, and take care, also GMaS.

Hi Mikey, sounds like you are going to need some exercise after a Chinese and Renes cooking. Went to see my Mum this morning, she has Alzheimers and I get about three words out of her in an hour, none of which make any sense. But when I asked her if she loved me she mumbled 'yes' so it was quite a worthwhile visit. Hope you have had a great time this afternoon with all the family. Clock changing is a pain, there is always one item that gets forgotten about! Looking forward to hear the new song. See ya soon. Mark

Thanks Mikey!
I don't think there's a Mother's Day here, so I'll take you up on this one!
Hope you had a wonderful day.
We have daylight savings in the US too "fall back, spring ahead."
It is confusing and my mom used to say, "oh no, I'm losing an hour's sleep, now I'll be tired until October!"
She was cute.
I'm sure your new song is beautiful. Can't wait until the tour when I can actually BUY a REAL cd of yours!
Are you going to autograph them at the merch booth??
Hope so!
Take care,
Sue
Running out of OTHER ideas... :)

Mother's Day is on a different day here in the US, so we have to keep on our toes and send Mum her gift. This year we sent her cold hard cash that was left over from our trip, 80 quid and she was over the moon.

Wasn't sure if you were getting the messages I posted on your MySpace Mikey. I will email Rene if that is ok and she can pass on my questions.

Thank you so much for your comments on my blog regarding songs. I truly appreciate the positive feedback.

Hi Mikey!

Hope your Mom had a lovely Mother's Day. Ours is the second Sunday in May.

Another new song? That is great! Between you and Rachel and Pete, we are going to have so much new and beautiful music to listen to. It makes me very happy. I LOVE music, can't live without it.

See you on Wednesday on ITA!

I will alert the kids that it is Mother's Day in the UK.
Happy thoughts to us Mothers is greatly appreciated, regardless of the date!!

I hate the clock turning bit too. So dumb! They call it day light savings, yea sure. It gets dark, earlier in winter, causing all the lights to go on for hours earlier. If they left it alone, it would be darker in the morning, less people up that early anyway, so less electricity would be used. I just don't get it!? Why am I going off here? I don't know?

I'm sure the song is a beauty. Rene just wouldn't lie.
