Hey there everyone, I'm here in LA and having a great time. I'm really missing my Rene though, we get to talk on the phone nearly everyday, but the time difference is crazy. Last night I was lucky enough to go to the Hollywood bowl, it was an amazing show with the Rose Hill Drive guys opening with a terrific set, and then the mighty Who delivered a monster of a show. It was great hanging backstage, and meeting some bloggers, I had a great night, and what an amazing venue, I've got some great pictures which I will post when I get home.
I also got to meet loads of great bloggers at the Barnes and Noble gig that Rachel did in LA, its great to meet people that I have spoken to on the blog for the last year, thankyou very much to all those people, it was great to see you.
Sorry to all those that I didn't get to see, and I hope to meet you some other time.
I'm using Andy's computer in the hotel that we are staying, as promised, I'll try and blog as often as possible on this tour, but I haven't got my own computer.
Tomorrow is the first Attic Jam of the tour, at the Hotel Cafe. I'm really looking forward to the show, and hope that I'll get to meet loads more bloggers and fans. I'm opening the show with a few songs, probably Plasticine, You and Misery, it should be good. For all those of you who can't be there, you will be able to watch the show on Intheattic.tv.

Glad you're with the gang out in LA, I hope to catch the next ITA...I can't tell you all how much I've enjoyed them, going back to #1. I just bought your EP and can't wait to get it. hopefully it'll help you buy back your teeth from Pete!
I've often gone back to hear your songs on ITA shows...you've really gotten better and better each performance. If I can make a request, you should bering back "My Pidgeon Friend" - I love that song! Was that your Gibson J200? Sounds fantastic! you should use it more often.
Well, I'm off to cry in a corner. I just saw the tickets for Chicago in December go on sale today. It's my home town (but I am living in Sweden) & I have been longing to see you all there. Just living for it! If you're playing the show, best of luck and please, please try to put it online for me and the other fans.

Aw, last night's show was wonderful, it was so nice to meet you in person finally! And the angst, longing in your voice is making for better performances, hehe. I'm making light of it but it's true. You have an added intensity right now because of it. Plasticine made me tear up a little even though it normally doesn't. Exceptional performance.

And all of you can be jealous because when all 4 Attic Jammers were on stage (Rach, Mikey, Pete and Si) I said in a rachel-like baby voice: "Love you" and Mikey looked at me and laughed and said the same thing back to me.

Learned when it happened to me. I got this gift in the mail awhile back, recently.wasn't expecting it at all. It was something really cutesy. Not expensive, but it's priceless to me for the thought that went into it. This person knew that I liked cat figurines, etc. Cat things. And it was a pink backpack with cats on it. Really cute. Has the rollers on it for rolling through the airport. I swear, I set the backpack up so I could look at it, and it made me smile whenever I did. A silly little thing that made me really, really happy. :)
So I know from personal experience. :)

Mikey, sitting here listening to Invisble, your EP, fantastic stuff Mikey. I love Misery and Invisible the best- something about having real drums and a bit of keyboard, the production is terrific Mikey, what can we do to get you on B&N web site and on the radio? You should be selling right next to Rachel in my opinion.
Hope you have fun on tour and build your fan base, you deserve success my friend. It's hard to believe it is a week since we walked in to Barnes & Noble to see you. Mark & Jill left a lovely message on our machine before they got on their plane home. It's a shame we can't all live in the same area, we are really very sad tonight.
