Milan, Moon & Stars and Monte Carlo...
I flew from Berlin to Milan, then a taxi ride accross town, then joined Pete and Rachel in their swanky hotel suite, it was incredible, but almost topped by accompanying them in a helicopter to the next gig at Locarno in Switzerland the next day.
Locarno Moon & Stars was a show in a town square, very pretty and once dark, was beautifully lit. It rained very hard through. IN THE ATTIC went brilliantly as usual. The Casbah Club had some problem's due to the weather, but it had dried by the time The Who came on, both band's were fantastic, in a great setting.
I joined the crew on the crew bus, and had my own bunk, it was my first time on the crew bus, but I slept nearly all the way to Monte Carlo, where Rene was coming out to see me for the weekend.
I had a lovely day with my Rene, then done IN THE ATTIC, in probably the most glamourous setting ever, it was very hot though, and at one time felt like the magic bus was going to topple into the sea. Everything was fine, and me and Rene enjoyed a beautiful evening in Monte Carlo.
The next day, I had to wave goodbye to Rene, and travelled with the band to Vienne...
To be continued...
Thank's for all the shout's everyone, I hope your enjoying, as I did. I'm off to the New Forest for a long weekend with Rene and brother Shaun, Lisa and Jed. I've just bought a big new tent for the occassion, I'll get picture's for you all, take care all, and give me a shout...

Hi Mikey,
like to read about your tour. I think I buy the WHO DVD from Lucarno. Lovely place. Do you see something from the towns Lucarno, Monte Carlo or Vienne? Yesterday I made your EP on my IPod. Fantastic music. Thank's very much.
Tonight Charly and I want to see "Lord of the Rings part 3". We like this movie.
All the best to you and Rene and a fantastic weekend.
Peace Stefan

The last picture just kinda says so much. Art happens when you do not expect it. Very Cool. Take care Mikey.
Enjoy, enjoy, ENJOY the long weekend!
Very nice of you to post in such vivid detail about the tour. Thank you for taking the time and including pics to boot. I like the look of the square in Locarno. In spite of the rain, for the tenants on balconies the gigs had to be the best moment in their lives!
yeah!

Hey Mikey, I love reading your accounts and seeing the photos. How was your New Forest adventure? A.J. and I were in the Minnesota woods this weekend, up north. I've posted some nature photos including one of A.J. and his trout. Think you'll like them!
I was wimpy that day, a bit under the weather, and couldn't stomach the thought of dealing with the worms...in fact, when I tried, I screeched, "EWWW! They're like little snakes!" and let two of the big nightcrawler worms go! A.J. just rolled his eyes. Wimpy Mom moment there.
Hope you had a good one. Did you fish?
Love,
Brina
