Grotty weather here.

The weather is really grotty here, wind and rain throughout the day, so I'll post this picture of sunnier days, camping in France earlier this year.

Getting ready for the new blog, you shall see it, this very day.
Going to work on a song that I wrote in France today as well, there's still a little to write, and then I'll demo it on my home studio, although I'll have to use number 2 guitar as the number 1, is still up at the studio after last weeks show, I was so tired that I couldn't face carrying it home.
Looking forward to 'In the Attic', pj special, should be a good one. I haven't done any films this week, I've really let it slip, and with the weather outside, it doesn't look like I'll be making any soon. I suppose I could show an old film, in fact the first film Brendan done for me, we'll see, it was called 'Blue skies', and was basically a film of me walking on the mud flats of the Thames estuary, outside my old flat. Obviously when the tide was out of course. The song was never recorded in the studio, so the sound quality is knowhere near as good as the others you have heard. Its a toughey. Let me know what you think, give me a shout?

The weathers bad down here in Sussex. Looks like I'll have to watch the loop this week as I'll end up falling asleep in a meeting if I stay up until 0200 Thursday morning. At least the people across the pond will be able to catch it live. Take care. Mark

Hi Mickey,

How goes it? Chilly here but dry today. Fall is definitely in the air. Peace.

I think you should definitely play the "Blue Skies" video. In the Attic fans will understand about the audio quality.

What about your film for "White Stripes" that you didn't get to play last week? I don't think any of us would mind hearing the song again in order to watch the film.

I'm so glad that you played the last half of "Clever Girl" over again last week so that we could hear the middle eight part. That part was so strong it really made the song a good one.

Looking forward to the show this week.

Hi Mikey,

You look quite dashing with a tan, ya know!

It will be fun to watch you on Wednesday. I asked Rachel to please post what time you'll be on. I remember it is going to be nighttime where you are, but not sure about the rest of us...

It's pretty sweet that Rene is your driver. I didn't learn to drive til I was 32, I think, and ever since I've been crazy mad for it, just love driving. I think I didn't learn when I was a teenager because I was all caught up in being a pianist. A lot of classical musicians are so into their playing that they forget to learn practical skills like driving...honestly, I found that to be true at music school/conservatory...anyway, driving is fun, most of the time.

Big hugs to you and Rene,

and how's the cute baby nephew doing?

Love, Brina

Dear Mikey

I like the sunny camping photo!
We have lake fog here today that looks as though it may not burn off until later this afternoon.

Once I save up enough money, I'm going to buy a new computer system. One that will allow me to develop digital photos & post them.
We have some great camping pics from here in the Rockies. Also some good ones from the summit at our ski resort.
I know you'd appreciate them all!

I mentioned to Rachel about the portrait I did of Pete. Maybe she will show it to you.

Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday.
It airs here at 10:00 a.m., so I'll be at work - no jammies, but I might wear my big polar bear feet slippers & hide them under my desk...

Another warm and sunny day in Las Vegas. I so envy your rainstorms!!
I love how the clouds roll in and the wind kicks up, the thunder and lightning, and that fresh clean rain smell, it's so rejuvenating!
Makes me think of new beginnings

Take care and enjoy the rain :)

Hi Lzygrl, I've answered your question as best I can.
Thanks Cara, I hope you are ok, see you in my pj's.
Hi Justin, I'm jealous, more films coming up.
Your just clever Gary, see you on wednesday.
Certainly will be in our pj's, and we exspect everyone out there to do the same. Take care blog buddy Lucy.
Thanks Mark, were trying to share. See you on the loop mate.
Hi Kid Ric, time waits for no man.
Thanks Tom, I'll try and show that film I spoke of, I hope Mat has done the DVD from the CD film I gave him. If so, you'll see the 'white stripes' movie, shot next to my brothers pond. Thanks about the song,'clever girl', I just had to finish it properly.
Thankyou for you continual complements Brina, your so sweet. I did take driving lessons when I was 17, then failed a test, then realised there was much more to life. I would love to race cars, but I'm not bothered about driving on the road. Maybe one day, eh. Jed is doing really well thankyou, and Shaun and Lisa read my blog, so know how lovely you are.
Hi Dale, I can't wait to see them photo's, I love boarding as well, and nature, one day I would like to see it for myself. I'll ask Rachel. Love the polar bear slippers.
Hi Kara, I suppose the grass is always greener, on the other side of the fence, eh. Thanks for reminding me, cheers for commenting.

I love the rain, I wish it could rain here more often. It is so dry here. Lately we have gotten a few drops. Clouds make me happy because I don't have to worry about passing out in the heat on my 2 mile walk home with my trombone. Someday I would like to live over there in England. I would love to see that move of you on the flats.
