It's a boy...
Well done brother Shaun, and Lisa, and congratulations on the birth of there son, Jed at 2 o'clock today, and today is my brothers birthday, and Rene's sister too. Everyone's releived and excited, I'm over the moon.
Everything seems to have worked out perfectly, as it should.
The Bedford gig;
What a night, I was first on, but was introduced beautifully by Rachel, played my songs good, and sung ok, and then could sit down and enjoy the whole show with Rene and brother Shaun. Simon sang a song with me, and it really made it. Everyone performed amazingly, the show was a complete success. Thanks to everyone who came, and everyone that wanted too.
Rene managed to get some photo's on our rubbish little camera.
I am such a lucky boy. Thanks everyone. Give me a shout.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show yesterday.. I have to describe a moment last night for you. I was sitting at the computer watching the loop of I.T.A and Stephani wheeled over her office chair.. She has got in the habit of watching this with me.. Anyhow, you started to sing "Clever Girl", she hears the opening intro and first few lines and goes "... wo!.. like that"... I turn it up.. We listen. I turn to look at her at the end and she has tears in her eyes. I think that is an awesome talent Mikey, keep it going, you are revealing more of your talent to us every week.
Loved the joke about fellow with 5 willies. Loved the dancing. Loved the footage from Bedford arms. Pete played a few bars of "Bargain" on his 12 string, Nice!
I will say though.. I have a slightly sad feeling right when the show ends, and that must be good though. Then I think, ok, I need to think of something as exciting as that to go and do.

Mikey, please pass on our congratulations to Shaun on the arrival of Jed. We did meet Shaun on Tuesday and had a quick chat so he may remember us. That really was an awesome night. Almost surreal.

Looked like the gig was great. Seems pretty relaxed concert. I sure wish I were there. A newborn nephew too, how awesome that is. Being here in the other corner of the world, I always miss the births of the newborns in my family in the last 5 years; and that's just depressing at times.
Thank you kindly for sparing time to visit my blog, Mikey. I sure appreciate it. That's so cool that you actually spent time in Tasikmalaya. I've never actually been there, but I am planning to go home this Christmas break and I might visit some friends in Bandung and Bogor. I would certainly be happy if I can bring you back something in particular from home.
