Back Home...
Hey everyone, we are back home, got back yesterday morning, but have been pretty wiped out. We had a great time, and I've got plenty of photo's. I'll post a few now, and more later. Thankyou for all your great post's about last week's show, and thank's for all your well wishing for me and Rene on our hol's.
I took my song book to Spain with me, although didn't even open it, I spent the whole time relaxing and enjoying myself. Back home now, and back to work.
Really looking forward to tonight's show, I haven't thought of any useless fact's or even considered what I could play, but I'm sure everything will turn out fine on the show.
I hope that everyone had a great Easter holiday, I'll blog later with more stories of our trip.

I'm so glad I'll be able to watch the show live today. I like my new job but I'd rather be with the attic gang on Wednesdays.
Your songs are at 49 and 62 on the alternative chart. They'll be in the top 50 before you know it.

Ok, I'd better go to bed, I have to get up very early tomorrow to get some things done before going to work....and after work I'm going to see a concert of THE DOORS!!!, they are coming to Madrid...well, now their name is "Riders on The Storm"..can't wait to see Ray Manzarek.
I've been watching the news, they've been talking about Ayrton Senna because it was 12 years ago that he died, well, the 1st of may 1994. Next race is on Sunday at that terrible Imola circuit.
I guess you'll be watching...:)

Your singing and playing was better than ever today. The last song, with Simon, was the best I've ever heard from you, I think..."Misery Needs a Friend"...with the two of you on guitar, it sounded kind of like a Dylan song. I love this song. Thank you!

The holiday really relaxed you. When you played "Matches" I just sensed that you were truly at ease, without the stress of builders and so on around you. Really a clean sound and your voice was sterling.
Thanks too for sharing the video of you and Rene. I still felt like I was peeping in on a couple when I shouldn't have been. Probably, I'm a bit of a prude. I was definitely jealous of your sun tan; meaning, I can hardly wait to embrace the Spanish sunshine. Seems a person simply walks around, at leisure, and viola! Tan!

I wasin't able to watch the whole episode unfortunately, so I might have missed the shout. I have a bunch of homework, I don't think I will be able to watch the rest. It must be divine intervention, or the fact that it is almost 1am, my time, but I got perfect feed for MISERY! It was absolute ecstacy. Mikey, this song is every bit as good as Neil Young's Down By The River, one of my favorites. I think, once the WORLD knows you, this may be your biggest hit. OK, no more predictions from me, I'm tired, but I had to come by to THANK YOU for that fabulous ending to a great show!

With multi looping to watch the show yesterday I unfortunatly did not get to see you perform much. I loved Misery with Simon and your video was great. I love vacations. It was great watching all the iteractions with the kids and all of you yesterday.

If you're interested, I posted the demo of that song "God Cried" to my IAC page. It came out shorter than I wanted, mostly because I couldn't find another groove to get into for a bridge. Am working on a song for my Father on mandolin.
