Back Home...

Hey everyone, we are back home, got back yesterday morning, but have been pretty wiped out. We had a great time, and I've got plenty of photo's. I'll post a few now, and more later. Thankyou for all your great post's about last week's show, and thank's for all your well wishing for me and Rene on our hol's.
I took my song book to Spain with me, although didn't even open it, I spent the whole time relaxing and enjoying myself. Back home now, and back to work.
Really looking forward to tonight's show, I haven't thought of any useless fact's or even considered what I could play, but I'm sure everything will turn out fine on the show.
I hope that everyone had a great Easter holiday, I'll blog later with more stories of our trip.
Well, I've got to get ready now, I hope I'll see you all on the show, thank's again for all the great comment's on my blog, let me know if you want a shout on the show, or if you want me to play a particular song, or just let me know if you enjoyed the show, so take care all, and please GMaS.

P.S. I got my new guitar while you were gone. I have posted 2 pics of it.

Welcome back.:-)

I'm so glad I'll be able to watch the show live today. I like my new job but I'd rather be with the attic gang on Wednesdays.
Your songs are at 49 and 62 on the alternative chart. They'll be in the top 50 before you know it.
Think you could play Matches for us today?

I hope you enjoyed your holidays, Mikey. I'm actually feeling kind of ill at the moment.
I love the first photo, it reminds me of the school trip I made a few weeks ago. I think it's rather funny.
Rene and you are so photogenic!
Oh, by the way, check this out:

And I'd really like a shout out from you.

Great pics! Love the last one -you guys are so cute.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for visiting my blog! I left you a comment over there...
I feel so silly now thinking you had a female back-up singer! I can't believe how high you can sing! I can't even sing that high...
have a great show! Oh I'd love a shout, but it's probably too late now...if you and Rachel could sing "Pretty Heart" together, that would be cool. (I wonder if she is going to sing at all w/ her cold though, poor thing).

Hi Mikey!!!!

Thanks a lot for saying HOLA, hahaha...You should have seen the big smile I had on my face...:):)

Thanks also for singing "Matches", I really love it.......Hey, you and Simon sound great together...wish I could go to southend to see you, it's going to be great.

Ok, I'd better go to bed, I have to get up very early tomorrow to get some things done before going to work....and after work I'm going to see a concert of THE DOORS!!!, they are coming to Madrid...well, now their name is "Riders on The Storm"..can't wait to see Ray Manzarek.

I've been watching the news, they've been talking about Ayrton Senna because it was 12 years ago that he died, well, the 1st of may 1994. Next race is on Sunday at that terrible Imola circuit.
I guess you'll be watching...:)

Mikey dear, Welcome back!

Your singing and playing was better than ever today. The last song, with Simon, was the best I've ever heard from you, I think..."Misery Needs a Friend"...with the two of you on guitar, it sounded kind of like a Dylan song. I love this song. Thank you!

Big hugs,

P.S. Happy you and Rene had a great holiday, you are the kind of couple who belong together.

Love that squirrel nutkin too!

Oh, they were bluebells! My eyes! Yeesh.

The holiday really relaxed you. When you played "Matches" I just sensed that you were truly at ease, without the stress of builders and so on around you. Really a clean sound and your voice was sterling.

Thanks too for sharing the video of you and Rene. I still felt like I was peeping in on a couple when I shouldn't have been. Probably, I'm a bit of a prude. I was definitely jealous of your sun tan; meaning, I can hardly wait to embrace the Spanish sunshine. Seems a person simply walks around, at leisure, and viola! Tan!

as ever, our best to you and yours,

me and Bea Bea

I wasin't able to watch the whole episode unfortunately, so I might have missed the shout. I have a bunch of homework, I don't think I will be able to watch the rest. If you forgot the shout, I don't care. You've given me one before. Great show for what I saw. I liked that video of the forest with the flowers. GMaS!

It must be divine intervention, or the fact that it is almost 1am, my time, but I got perfect feed for MISERY! It was absolute ecstacy. Mikey, this song is every bit as good as Neil Young's Down By The River, one of my favorites. I think, once the WORLD knows you, this may be your biggest hit. OK, no more predictions from me, I'm tired, but I had to come by to THANK YOU for that fabulous ending to a great show!

He Mikey! thank you for so many Shout out's on the show last night, excellent. I posted your excellent rendition of "Misery" on Attic Radio last night.

If you're interested, I posted the demo of that song "God Cried" to my IAC page. It came out shorter than I wanted, mostly because I couldn't find another groove to get into for a bridge. Am working on a song for my Father on mandolin.

Hope you're doing well and getting ready for the tour, this is going to be really exciting.

Hi again Mikey-
I'm with Sue- your music really reminds me of CSNY. You have so much heart when you play.
I sent an email to all my friends w/a link to Attic radio.
They think Pete is paying me!
They understand my obsessions...
I hope the ITA opens lots of doors for you. You must be heard by the masses! :)
Have a great weekend!
Peace and love,
Sue D.
