HOUSTON, FORT LAUDERDALE AND ATLANTA...
Fistly, thanks everyone that has given me a shout on this blog, I really appreciate all the encouragement and well wishes. I check my blog as often as I can, so please give me a shout. Thanks also to all the people who have bought my CD Invisible, I hope that you are enjoying it, please tell your friends and family, and anyone that maybe able to spread the word.
So, from Dallas to Houston, where I bought Rene some cowboy boots and hat, and watched The Pretenders and The Who perform from the side of stage, it was incredible, I love The Pretenders, but The Who were just god-like, I was really rocking out, what a night. Then from Houston we flew to Fort Lauderdale, and the next day performed a ITA from backstage at the Who gig there, it was a strange but great show, I played White Stripes and We Will Fix It, Pete, Rachel and Simon all played beautifully, and we spoke about science, art, plumbers and drummers, bogs and blogs. As usual the show zipped by in a flash, I really hope that you get to see it some time.
Then back on the bus, driving through the night to Atlanta. Apparently home to the worlds biggest aquarium, but on the day I wanted to go, it was the first year anniversary and tickets had to have been bought in advance, so I couldn't go, oh well. Back on the road tonight, but quite honestly I don't know where to. I'm looking forward to the gig at Joe's pub, and meeting you guy's and girls that are going.
Apart from that, all I can say is that I have been writing and drawing, taking loads of pictures and most of all, missing my Rene intensely, we talk on the phone often and text each other regularly, but I've still got three weeks left, I am enjoying my time in America, but well, I sure you understand what I'm talking about here.
As ever, thanks for all the support, take care and please do GMaS...

Dear Mikey, It's always so good to read your blog. You show us your feelings as well as your adventures. I feel for you and Rene and can only hope that the time flies until you are together again.
I am also on the road this week, first up to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (brrr) and now in Monterey, California. Please go to my blog so you can see the gorgeous sunset photos from tonight on the beach. It was one of the most beautiful sunsets of my life!
Happy and in love, that's me. I drew my sweetheart's and my initials in the sand yesterday!
Can't wait to give you a shout AND a hug in Minneapolis. Please come to the bookstore so that Jessica and I can lavish you with happy smiles. Love, Brina
Mikey
I'm sorry you weren't able to go to the Aquarium. You would have enjoyed it. That whole area in Atlanta is pretty cool - CNN center, the Convention Center, the hotels. I go there every few years for work conferences and always enjoy the area.
I watched the Who concert from the side of the stage in Boston. That was a pretty cool experience - had never gone backstage during a show before. Am going to the Atlantic City show and the Hershey show this week. We have backstage passes again so maybe we'll see you there. Hope so.
I am glad you are enjoying your travels across the US even though you are missing Rene.
Have a good Thanksgiving.

Hey Mikey!
In all your post you say the USA is great and I think you're right! I never went to USA, but I hope to spend my holidays there. Not the next holidays, but sometime!
Love, Charly
Hi Mikey,
Can't wait to see the ITA you taped. Also hoping that next year you will put out a full length album with all your beautiful songs on them. Or maybe a live album. Just dreaming, don't mind me.
Sorry you did not get to go to the aquarium. Timing is everything, eh? I hope you will really enjoy your next three weeks in the States. They will be gone before you know it.
I also want to wish you a Happy Thanksgiving, as it is here in America. I wonder if you will eat any traditional American fare. Some of it is disgusting, but some of it can be pretty tasty, like mashed potato and....well did I mention the mashed potato?
So, consider this your SHOUT from me. And warm regards to Rene. Oh, and I sent a bit of news to Rachel and asked her to tell you about it, since I don't have an email address for you. Hope you get it.
Alright, off I go to cook up some vegetarian alternatives to turkey stuffing and whatnot. Wish me luck! And all the BEST to you during your remaining US travels, Mikey.
Much Love,
-Natalie
Hey Mikey!!
Hope you are enjoying your Thanksgiving. This is the day to pig out on turkey and stuffing and cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie!! By all means eat up!!
Still open for the meetup in Niagara Falls when you reach Toronto. IF your taking the bus from Boston, you may hit either the Peace Bridge, or the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. Either one is 2 minutes away. Hope we can hook up, even if it's a quick coffee at Tim Hortons :)
I'm sure the next three weeks will fly by in a flash. Even though you're missing Rene it's good to know you're having a great time.
Keep on rocking!

Aw, I'm sorry to hear that it's 3 weeks
still left to go. :(
But she'll get a "kick" out of the boots, I'm sure! No pun intended.
Try to remember how valuable this experience is.
You've been tagged. I have now tagged you.Everyone has been tagged. What, you aren't goodenough to be tagged? lol
You don't have to do this, but by being tagged it means that you have to answer 9 miscellaneous facts about yourself.
Normally I don't go in for this sort of thing, but it's a good way to learn about your fellow bloggers.
Hope you feel better, hang in there, man. We love you.
xoxoLisa
If you look on my blog, your CD is seen located in front of Allen's CD player, in the his garage we call The Garage.
Allen bought it from you outside Hotel Cafe and ATTIC JAM. We listen to it with all the other stuff that there is out there in the world. We do enjoy having your music, Mikey. Welome to the Garage!
Happy Thanksgiving, USA!

Hello from California!
In less than short two weeks you've managed to work your way back across to the east coast. Incredible. I do hope you enjoy a few days with shorter drives and get a chance to see some sites. NYC [my hometown!] is very special this time of year.
Just got my pictures back from Indian Wells [shhhh ... I snuck in my camera!] and I managed to get some nice pics of Pete and Roger.
Looking forward to seeing the new ITA at some point. Thanks for blogging, Mikey, and hang in there for a few more weeks!
Cheers,
Chris Capp
Hi Mikey,
Glad everthing is going OK. Guess you have mixed feelings. Enoying yourself, but wishing Rene could enjoy it with you. The next three weeks will go quickly and you'll soon be together again. Take care. Mark

Hi Mikey!
Glad you're having fun here in the USA!
Did you have Thanksgiving with Pete & Rachel? Hope you enjoyed it if you did.
I just received my ticket to see the Who in San Diego, hopefully you'll be there. I'm sorry to say that I still don't have your CD yet, I should've bought it while I was there at the Hotel Cafe! I promise to buy it soon.
Enjoy the last three weeks of being here!
Mikey...
I hope my husband and I get a chance to say HELLO, at Joe's on tuesday.
I know how you feel, missing Rene.
My husband just started a new business, and he is gone quite often. OK, he is not away overnight, but he is away from us a lot!!! So, I am looking forward to the show on wednesday, as a way to spend more time with him!!
I can't believe I am going to finally get to see/hear you LIVE...
Now, if I do get a chance to meet you, do I say, "oh hi, it's me lzygrl, lyricsgrl or Sue?" Everytime I meet a blogger, I have trouble with this...except Colleen, who knew who I was, right away!!! ;)
Take care Mikey..
