TODAY DENVER, TOMORROW DALLAS...
Arrived in a cold snowy Denver this morning, after a superb ITA and glorious WHO show last night in Salt Lake City. I also got the chance to meet some lovely bloggers, which is always a pleasure, and loads of WHO fans as well. The ITA show was great, with Rachel singing and playing beautiully, Simon delivering an amazing performance, and Pete performing with his usual brilliance. I played Matches and Misery with Rachel, which I was very happy with.
I was overjoyed to receive some photo's from home, e-mailed to me by my Rene. It made me very happy, but also sad, as I miss home, but I am enjoying 'life on the road', and life on the bus. America is so huge, it's hard to comprehend, but day by day I am getting it.
Missing my Rene everyday, as well as my family and friends, hope everyone is doing good out there, thankyou very much for all the great shouts I get on this blog, I'm quite proud of my blogging, thanks to everyone that supports me, take care all, and as usual, please GMaS...

Hi Mikey!
Aw I know what it's like to be homesick! Good on Rene for sharing pics.
Still loving your ep!
Looking forward to the next way cool installment of ITA.
Take care and keep enjoying your stay in the USofA.
Lots of love,
Suesxx
No joke, I've had Plasticine stuck in my head this entire day...and I have no idea why because I haven't heard it in a long time. Hmm...maybe you can play it at Joe's? :o)
Hope you are doing well...it's too bad Rene isn't able to come over and be with you for a while. I've never met her but she seems like an awesome girl, and you two are so cute together. This leg will be over soon enough and then you guys will be back together! :)
PS - Have you seen Borat? You so must! Go with Andy, you guys would love it.
u rock!
Mikey,
Thank you for going through your homesickness so we all get to see the "whole" in the attic LIVE(looking forward to the Chicago show). How selfish of me. A thought? Turn your feelings into music, that's what you guys(and girls)do...
Yes, it's a big, wonderful country and I know I am so fortunate to have been born here.
I hope you get encouragement from all the comments and you too Rene.

Hi Mikey,
today you made Charly very, very happy. Thank you!
My kids are in bed now and I want to blog something. Tomorrow Konstantin write his first english test at the new school. He and Charly must learn so much and it's no free time for both. It's great to read your posts and I hope to see the next ITA soooooon. Wish you a fantastic time in the USA.
Love an peace
Stefan
Hello Mikey,
America is huge, and the best way to see it is from the road, in my opinion. Flying in and out just isn't the same. One of the best experiences of my life was acting in a cross-country tour of a production of Cyrano de Bergerac. We covered so much of the country and it was an incredible learning experience. It's not easy being on the move, on the road, living out of a suitcase, but it can provide some unforgettable experiences.
Looking forward to the SLC ITA when it goes up!

Hola Mikey!!!
You sound really busy....Enjoy USA!!! I'm looking forward to seeing next ITA.
Love,

Hey Mikey!
Hope your enjoying the awesome winter weather in Denver. Just make sure you don't get caught in a blizzard!
It's raining here in Niagara Falls (like we need water..). Weatherman said we were getting 1-2 inches of rain (which in snow terms is 10-12 inches).
Invitation is still open Mikey for lunch in Niagara Falls (Canada or US, either or!). Let me know at my email addy on my profile.
Tootles for now

Hi Mikey,
I think you best stay in the U.S. as the air out there obviously makes you Blog more!!! Only joking. Sounds like everything is going well. Pleased for all the U.S. Bloggers getting a chance to meet you at last. Have fun. Mark
Hey Mikey
So glad to hear you are back for the second leg... I sure enjoyed meeting you and Rene in Chicago at the HOB---that was such a blast and a womderful night I will never forget.
I hope you are enjoying Texas...We can't wait for the concert tomorrow night--we have front row seats on Pete's side--so if you are there we would love to see you again. Hopefully Pete won't cancel like Eric Clapton did when we had front row!!!!!!!
Hope to see you
Belinda

Hi Mikey! It was lovely to meet you again and hang out! Hope you don't think me too silly with not being able to walk in my shoes...at least they looked good LOL!
Good luck and enjoy playing to NYC again. I will be leaving the city the day before so will miss it, but enjoy yourself. I know many are super excited to hear you since you missed the last Joes Pub show!
