BACK ON A MAC...

Hi all, thanks for all the great shouts here. It was also brilliant so many of you guy's got to watch the show, I'm really glad you all injoyed it, thankyou very much indeed. Hope everyone has been good, my spirits are lifting, and I've been working on a new song, I think it will be called Greenhouse. Making music helps my mood alot, and I am feeling really good. I've been out on the beach getting some lovely pictures with my cool new camera, which I've put up here, let me know what you think?
I won't be going to America on the next leg of the Who tour, sorry to everyone that I will miss, but I'm sure I'll see you again, but IN THE ATTIC will tour the festivals of the UK and Europe in the airstream again, back to live transmission's and great guest's. I really enjoy touring, although I get homesick, or actually it's more missing Rene more than anything, it's a double edged sword, like most things really. It's really good to be home, and visiting Jed my little nephew, he is amazing.
Also, nearly forgot, this is my first blog on my new Mac, our last computer died a couple of week's ago, and I hadn't backed up any photo's, but luckily the photo's were retrieved and I can continue with the American Tour photo's.
Anyway, this is just a quick blog to say hi all, and thanks, hope all is well, take care and give me a shout.

Hey Mikey.
I saw a part of the last IN THE ATTIC! Now I have to write a text in my english lesson and I think I'll write about IN THE ATTIC.
Your pictures are great!!! I'm happy that you come with THE WHO on the Europe-TOUR!!! We (my dad, my brother and me) will come to some of the concerts in Germany and we hope to meet you again!
Now I have to stop, because my hand is hurting and so it's difficult to write with the computer.
Love, Charly

BEAU-IFUL PICS, Mikey!!

What a beautiful place you live ~ I love the seaside as well. It makes you feel so "in-tune" with the Earth and every season has its own special magic.

Keep writing, it was so good to hear your voice when I watched the Attic "loop", I kept it running all day while I worked!

Much Love~

It was good seeing you on the Attic show. I'm sorry you won't be at the show at Joe's Pub. It won't be the same without you.

Hi Mikey,

I managed to watch most of ITA on Wednesday. It is still as entertaining as it was on day one. I've had a twenty inch I-Mac for a few months and it's great for music and photos. Talking of photos, your ones are really atmospheric. Take care mate and love to Rene. Mark

Hi Mikey, Cool photo's.

Next time you see Pete, ask him what he and Rach use to backup, I think you'll be pleasantly surprized.

Sorry to hear you won't be on the US leg of the tour, but understand, and am glad to hear you are getting new songs. It will be nice to have regular episodes of ITA in the spring and summer.

Did you have a chance to listen to my new songs? Would love your thoughts.

Hey Mikey,

Shout shout shout! :-)

Beautiful photos. I so agree with Elizabeth A., about being connected to the ocean in that way. You know we all started out swimming in our mother's little inner ocean of sorts. I think the sea reminds us of our essential selves.

I'm sorry you are not coming back to the US this time, but I am also so happy and fortunate that my husband and I got to meet you when you were here. It was a day we will NEVER forget. So special.

Can't wait to pick up ITA live album tomorrow! Congrats again on your track. Stay well and enjoy your time with family.

Much Love,
-Natalie

Gorgeous photos! Looks like you live in a very picturesque spot.

Take care and keep blogging!

Pics are awesome Mikey.
I love winter sunsets...they are always full of such lovely hues of pink and purple...guess it's the angle of the earth at this time.
Glad you are perking up and writing new songs!
It's just the way life is - peaks and valleys. You need the valleys to appreciate the peaks.
Oh gawd I am so deep.
:)
NOT!

Take care and be well Mikey!
All the best w/your song on the iTunes cd.

Hiya Mikey,

I was just putting up a new blog about a song called "Can't Find My Way Home" by a young Steve Winwood. Such a gorgeous song.

Anyway, it occurs to me that you sing a little like he does in that song. You both have such a calming and hypnotic voice, really. I mean that as a most sincere compliment. Have you heard that song? It's so very Mikey-esque!! I mean, really!

Oh, and, as you can see, I have a new blogger profile name. Same space, new name. Still me, though!

:-)

Big shout and big hug!

Much Love,
-Natalie

Hi Mikey, thank you for listening to the new songs. I'd love to hear the part you hear in your head for the TSG song, I'd love to be able to co-write something with you, perhaps you could email me a mp3 of the idea and I could incorporate it, I think the song is too short and could definitely branch to a middle eight.

The other one is a bit low for me when it starts out, will try to raise vol on vocal. I've been to Mexico about a dozen times. I like Cancun the best, although Rosarito and Ensenada are great. Stephani and I have been about 4 times. We couldn't come to the UK for our honeymoon in 2001 because of 9/11 so we went to Puerto Vallarta. Recently, my Dad built a lovely home in the sleepy fishing village of San Felipe, which is on the sea of cortez. It's a pity it is such a long drive because it is gorgious down there, I know you would love it, I could imagine you and I fishing for Bonita, that's for sure.

Hope you and Rene are doing well, I'll bet you are glad to be together. Stephani celebrates a birthday today, so, she will have all of her nieces and nephews calling her to sing happy birthday. Take care mate.

mikey,
I really dig your EP. I bought a couple of them and gave one to my daughter who lives in Boston MA. USA. Who raved about it. Keep the music flowing. The Taoists believe music is one of the five excellences which enhance all life. So undoubtedly it will enhance yours.
best,
elroy.

Hi Mikey,
I just wanted to let you know Stephani and I missed you on Saturday night at Hotel Cafe, dispite a roster of other talent, your presence was missed. Hope to see you on the euro leg of the tour ay?

I put another new song up on my IAC page. It is called Dig In. A bit of a different groove, in my head it sounded a bit like The Style Council, but I heard Paul McCartney singing. Hope you like it.
