THE BLUE'S BROTHERS...
Here's a picture of me and my brother Shaun, I'm the bald, naked one. I love this picture. There's a funny blue colour to it, maybe it's because its so old, well that's the reason for the title. I should also mention that I really loved the film with the same title.
Getting ready to have another go at recording my new song 'Terrified', sounds scary, but it's not. So not a very long blog today, looking forward to the show tomorrow, I can't believe we are on show 9 of 'In the Attic', only one more to go, well, and then the christmas special of course, oh and the 'Basement Jam' pay per view event on the 4th December, how exciting!

I simply love old family photos.
My sister did a CD for our Mum & Dads' 50th anniversary this year with all our old photos.
It was done with music & was very beautiful.
Boy, did it bring back memories!

The blues Brothers was great film, great guys too. Closing of the Winterland in San Francisco 1978, the Blues Brothers opened for the Grateful Dead. After the show they and rest of the Saturday Night Live cast came by our hotel room to sing old R & B songs...I could tell you some stories...but there might be children reading!

I have a writing question for you. Do you usually write the lyrics or the music first? I use to always write the music first then add lyrics later if I felt the need. Recently I've been writing lyrics first.

It's a blustery day here in Pennsylvania....the leaves are particularly gorgeous this year; all brilliant shades of crimson and gold.
My woods are calling, but we are expecting some storms later....LOVE a good storm...so I'll make more tea and just listen to the winds....

I love shots like that one. It captures the spirit of mischief a young boy possesses. Then there's you sitting so patiently letting him grab your ear. Right. You probably let him have it a few seconds later. Ha ha

Mikey, this is the coolest thing, blogging. I knew from the first second that you were the baby in the photo. Imagine that.
I still don't have a scanner for my computer but I am SO motivated to get one. Putting old family photos onto the blog is so personal and poignant. I love yours, Rachel's, joeboy's...

Hey thanks everyone, once again I've let my blogging slide a little, I reckon that I was so tired after my killer journey to the show on thursday, that I just couldn't face thinking even, I feel better now, after a relaxing weekend. Bare with me please, so many great comments, my favorite is from Justin, about the blues brothers, how cool. I know I shouldn't say favorite's, cause all that posted are very special. I will get back to normal soon.
