Poorly Rene...

Rene didn't feel too good today, and took the day off work. I took care of her, and we had a lovely day together. A friend of mine visited, and asked us to mind his dog for the afternoon, while he got some Christmas shopping done. This is the same dog that I looked after a couple of weeks ago, he's a big Japanese Akita. He is a lovely dog, and always a pleasure, I got some photo's while he was laying down in the kitchen, I'll post them another day.
I ran through a couple of songs that I may play at the Christmas special 'In the Attic', then my friend returned and I showed him BASEMENT JAM on the loop. He loved it, which made me really proud.

Thanks to everyone that left me a comment, I'll try and reply as soon as possible, I really appreciate all of the positive feedback I get on this blog, thankyou. I'm going to post some more photo's of the beach here, I hope you like them.
Give me a shout.

This pictures really are amazing. I love looking at them. I really should make some of them the background on my computer. Then I can tell all my friends that an amazing musician named Mikey took them!
I really hope Rene is feeling better. I wasn't feeling that good today for awhile because I ate too much for lunch.

Thankyou Zoe, the secret is to always be on the look out for great view's, and when taking them, be very still, use thing's to steady yourself, and don't breath while pressing the button. There is beauty everywhere.
I love the fact that you care for all those cat's, I love cat's, thankyou for caring, take care.

Thanks, Mikey. :)
It's weird because I remembered Fox Rox does a big show on NY eve, on our local
Fox channel. Wonder if it means I'm going to be there? :)
At the big Fox Rox bash that airs live
on TV on New Years.Annual thing.
I'd completely forgotten about this!
Thanks for wishing me well, I'm nervous
about this. :(

Hey Mikey! I love the beach photos, you're getting really good at catching the mood. We were up on the Norfolk coast at the weekend where I lived for 30 odd years and I love the sea.

Thank you for the compliment...very sweet! I am blushing!!

PayPal will let you set up a "store" without all the eBay hassel if you like. You can sell there and we can all purchase! Let me know if you need help with any of it. I am a wiz at that as I have done several myself and for others.

Take care, Saturday then.....

I tried watching the basement jam but it w-- all bl-ps a-- dro- outs and I coul-n'- -ak- --t s--t!
It figures don't it?
So I teleported myself over to England, space and time being relative and all happening at once, so I was able in this way to actually participate in the jam session, it was fab, and you were awesome!

Good (my) Morning, Mikey!

Hope this day finds Rene feeling better. Sometimes I find a spontaneous day off, whether feeling well or not, is good for the soul.

The photos are fabulous! Do you live right along the beachfront?
It is such a beautiful place.

I've posted a pic of my Christmas tree on my blog. You might find the post a bit interesting. Check it out if you get a moment.
Thanks.

Have a wonderful day!

As I've said before, I love your photography. Do you do art shows (I think you had mentioned previously doing them)? Do you include your photography in those along with your drawings, or is photography more of a new direction now that you have your new camera?

Hey Britta, hope your ok and not snowed in or anything, your not lost, your just finding a new path.

Thanks Jill, I'm loving it, and everyday just looks better than the last.
Sound's like you and Mark had a lovely weekend. Did you bring back a turkey, sorry about that Jill. Thankyou for your kind words.

Thanks so much Molly, I may have to take you up on that, seeing as you know so much about it, Rene's a bit confused about it all.
Glad you like the photo's, take care.

Hey Ticharu, nice one mate, glad to hear you are using your powers wisely. It was great jamming with you mate, thankyou for covering my mistakes with that wicked solo.
Cheers mate.

Hi Dale, yes we do live along the beach front, although behind the road that follows the coastline. Thankyou very much for your kind words. I'll be over to check out your blog in a second. Take care.

Hi Janey, thankyou very much, I have had exhibitions before, better I've never really shown any photographs before. It's a great idea, but I would have to build a larger portfolio of work before I showed it in public, but the blog works very well at showing favorites as I take them. Thanks again and take care.

Hey Jessica, the waves never get that high here, because it is the Thames estuary, there is rough waves but I generally find it harder to go out in that weather, and take pictures, I'm such a softy. Hope you are good, take care.

Hi Michael, thanks mate, Oh I know, it's really hard isn't it. Thankyou so much to you and your mother, your great, I'm really looking forward to it, I'll post up a picture when I get it. Glad you used the picture as your screen saver, thanks again mate.
