CHECK ME OUT...

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone's kind and caring words, I feel very positive now, I was very touched that you all seemed to understand. I've given my fish tank a clean, mourned my Punk boy, and intend to include him in a song in the future. Anyway, thanks everyone.
Great news, I'm going with Rachel on tour with The Who, with In the Attic, and Rachel's band. I'm really looking forward to it. I can support Rachel and her band when they play, I am so lucky. You must make sure you sign my fan map, so that I know where you are, and can let you know when I'm in the area, how cool.
I'm going into the studio with Rachel tomorrow to lay down some vocals, I don't know if this one's going out over the web, I'll see. I'm really looking forward to it, the tracks are sounding amazing.
I've also got a Myspace now, and I'm on IAC, so check me out, Tourist is already up to number 46, on the alternative chart, and Plasticine is at 49 on the alternative pop rock chart. It's only been up a week, how brilliant is that. Thanks to the cool people for putting my stuff up on there Myspace's and every radio station that's playing me, thanks everyone.
I'm still working on the same song that I've been working on for age's, it's evolved then devolved, got words, then lost them, so that's about that for now really.
I have links up to the Myspace and IAC and my Fan Map, please take a look. Thankyou to the people that made these things possible.
Hope everyone is good out there, take care and GMAS.

Dear Mikey

I cleaned my fish bowl today, too...

I just signed your map, but I don't know if it will show up. It came up "invalid city", but it really does exist...
LOL
I'll contact Molly to see how to do it correctly.

We've had 2 feet of snow at the hill over the past 5 days!
The skiing is phenominal!!

I'm still not feeling up to snuff, but I've been drinking tea with large dollops of unpasteurized honey for the last few days.
Yummy!

I am very busy, so I will not be able to check out MySpace. It's all I can do to keep up with blogger!

Have fun recording.

Love
Dale

Congtats on the In The Attic news. Justin ended up liking the treatment, so I'm a bit relieved. Here's my little acapella song for Punk Boy:

-----------------------------------

Oh my little Punk Boy
you were my friend, no not a toy
You made me happy all day long
And now for you I sing this song

-----------------------------------

I live about 70-miles from the nearest city that The Who would even consider, so I'll try some metropolitan areas on the map.

You will be in the top ten on the IAC charts soon. Your music is very good and it won't take long to catch on.

Beautiful picture by the way!

Mikey you are so welcome for your fan map! My whole intention for it was to hope you and Rachel would tour together and see where we all are for a schedule to be put together as to hit us all. How great for you to be going with. Now I am very very excited!! Can't wait to see you perform live. Now I won't kick myself too hard for not flying over there for the Basement Jam!

Have a great day. I know I will for sure now!

Cool looking photo Mikey. I need to start bringing my little camera with me. Last night we had a red sunset that took my breath away as I drove home from work, and this morning there are faint light gray clouds under a morning chill. Imagine the sun beaming through a huge frosty shower door..

Can't wait to see you on the road. Oh what fun.

How long has it been since I've been here? Ooops...

Sorry about your fish, Mikey! It is really painful to lose a pet.

The news for the tour are very exciting. Count me in for your London Shows, and who knows, maybe somewhere else too...!

Love and kisses

Just paid to download your MP3s on IAC and got no download links. I emailed them. Thought you might want to know. I really want the MP3s, the money was nothing.

Hey Mikey,
Hope recording went well and I'll keep IAC busy. I looked back in your posts and enjoyed reading about your studio setup. Been lazy myself about posting. I'm tring to get up to speed on Pete's novella as well. IAC looks like a real good thing - we also have soundclick, taxi and cdbaby where small labels and independents can promote their music.
best of Wednesdays to you,
Dave

Good things happen to good people...Its so great what a little idea Rachel had about the Attic and how it blossomed into a "must see" event. Now look at how far it and you have come because of it. Your music is great but I really think because we were able to see you and how you are in person, your music is being heard and played by a lot of people. I really think its because of your personality. We all love you and want to see you succeed and we will help in any way we can.
Like I said before Rachel and Yourself have a fan base that has a certain quality about them. They are devoted and caring, regular folk that will help you out not just because we like the music but we like you. Hope you remember us when you reach number 1 and I think you will....michael :)

Excellent comment Michael!

You said it exactly right. The "In the Attic" music is superb but the personalities of Mikey and Rachel really make the whole thing so much more than just songs. Now, the trick is to get that across to a new audience from a stage. I think the Bedford and the Basement Jam gigs were a great start but it may take even a little more "In the Attic" type banter or even setting up the chairs on stage and having a chat to help show off these great personalites even more.
