TOMORROW'S CHRISTMAS 'IN THE ATTIC'.

Really looking forward to tomorrow's show, it's crept up really quickly. I've hardly rehearsed enough, but it will have to do. I'm not quite sure what's going to happen, but I know it will be a great show.
I will be playing 'Matches' for the first time, and back by popular request 'Plasticine', I will also play 'Feel My Heat' for everyone that asked especially for it. I will play a few more tunes, but to be honest, I don't know which song's to play, so although I've said it before, I'll say it again, if you have any favorite's that you would like me to play, let me know, and I will consider them.

Thankyou to everyone that has posted on my blog, I hope your still enjoying the sunset's.
I've gone pretty sunset mad just recently, it's because at this time of year, the sun sets over the water, which creates daily stunning scenery.
I also find a lot of inspiration from just being out in the open. I love the constant ebb and flow of the tide, the constant change. The estuary is a beautiful place to live.

Hope everyone really enjoy's the show tomorrow, GMAS.

Hey Mikey, I don't know if I can even watch the Christmas Special. What a shame. But I really want to hear you play "Torture" again. That's one of my favourites out of all of yours. Is it on your album?
I can't wait to get your CD, it's going to be great.

I love the newest picture you posted. Hope you don't mind but I am saving them in my pictures. Whenever I listen to my music I look at my pictures as a slide show. Now if only I had your music to listen to...
I am looking forward to getting your CD also.
Have fun tomorrow, I am sure you will be wonderful as always!!
Unfortunately I won't be there. I will be thinking of you all though.

Hey Mikey dear, How's Rene today? I think it's lovely that she has you to care for her.

I have a ticket for tomorrow but also have to drive my son and his girlfriend to a concert right about then. So my plan is to log on, set up an audio tape recorder to try to capture about an hour of the show, drive the kids downtown, hurry back home, and then I can catch the last part of your show live. I hope.

Big Christmas hugs, and thanks for putting on a show for us tomorrow!

Love,
Brina

P.S. My son's band got its first review! I'm going to post it at my blog. Such a bragging mom, huh?

Dear Mikey

You sunset nut, you...

I love how the sun is resting upon the railings of the pier. Nice composition!

At present here, we are experiencing a weather inversion. There is a thick layer of clouds at about 1000 ft. It holds the cold in the valleys, but above the cloud cover it is beautiful, sunny & about 10 degrees warmer. The summit of the ski hill is glorious, indeed!

I will try to post some more photos on my blog.

Have way too much fun tomorrow!
I hope to have time to pop into Molly's chat to say hi between engagements.

Hi Mikey me ol mouche

have fun, I don't have credit cards otherwise I'd check in too.

Remember, if your fingers ever go wobbly, treat it like it's part of the song, I do, you can treat an out of tune note as if it was supposed to be like that, like the dissonant tone being the warrior in Indian music. Sometimes I just stopped playing and carried on singing.
I'm a very heavy player myself, been trying to be more careful, guitar has nearly got a hole in it.

Ciao man
are you off on the tandem then at dawn?
Taxi?
ok

Hey, I want to hear Torture, too! Don't recall hearing that one.
"Torture" Feel my Heat" and "Pigeon" would be good!
Pigeon still has only been played twice,
and it makes me feel happy to be alive when I hear it.Such a feel to it.
But obviously all is good! Doesn't matter what you play, we'll all love it!
Good luck today ( it's today!)! xoxoLisa

Hey Mikey,
I got the beginning of Christmas special. I love the smoke fest you had at the beginning with Jerry. You looked so (cute, not in a gay way) looking back and forth on the fasion thing. I said you looked like you were at a tennis match. You have a great way about yourself. Onstage it seems like you get into a trans and get totally into the song. I love that you are the only person beside Pete that I feel actually "feels" the words and music, and it makes me really get into it.
Thanks for being there and making this part of my life so memorable. Merry Christmas and I hope the sweater fits....michael :)

Hey Mikey!

I had a really bad feed. Even Logged in on another persons from my chat who had to leave early but it was bad too...Oh well. I did however hear most of it, so kind of like listening to the radio and chatting with friends. Hope it will be looped!

I hope you have a great weekend and just wanted to say I really liked Matches and thank you for playing Plasticine!

Mikey,

Attic was so wonderful last night! even more than usual. the music was excellent, loved hearing "Matches" in its entirety, and "Torture" and "Pretty Heart" are my latest favorites! You and Rachel had me dancin about. I hope you record them soon.

One of my favorite parts of the Attic is seeing how you all really listen and enjoy each other's music as you are performing. I had a great time too. Loved seeing Rene ! It was so appropriate that you played "Feel my Heat" as the last song in the Attic, with everyone joining in.

can we buy your CD that was being sold at Basement Jam somehow?????

happy holidays,
Heather (I used to post as 'hp')

Mikey,

Gig time again my friend.

Just wondered if you were keen to come on Wednesday night.

We're playing at a club called 333 on Old Street in East London.

I thought East London may be a bit easier for you to get to.

We're on at 9pm.

Hope you're well and saturday's show was good.

Hey everyone, thanks for all the post's, sorry that I won't be answering individually again, but I've let it slide again havent I. Anyway, sorry to hear that the feed was a bit dodgy for some of you, has anyone considered that having the chat room open whilst getting the data stream might effect the cpu, it's just I know when I'm streaming data, all of my other applications must be turned off, so that they don't effect the stream. I may be well off the mark here, it's just a thought. I'm sure that something will be arranged, although I am just a simple artist, and have no control over these things. It should have been a perfect feed for everybody, that was the idea, anyway, don't loose faith, this was all an experiment anyway, to see if it would work, I can't believe people are taking offence. Well take care bloggers.
