SOAKING UP THE RAY'S...

I've been a bit of a slack blogger again haven't I, I've been taking it easy for the last week. I went fishing on the beach, didn't catch anything though. The weather has been brilliant and I managed a few day's on the beach soaking up the ray's. I've been meaning to record my new song, but haven't started yet, I may play the new song on this week's special show. I would also like to play Invisible, which is a song I played at the gig, but have never played on IN THE ATTIC, after many request's to hear it.
Thank's for all the great shout's on my blog everyone, I love reading all your beautiful word's. I've been watching load's of film's as well, I really enjoy immersing myself completely. I spent the day at my brother's house yesterday, working in the garden, the garden is beautiful, and although very strenuous, it give's me a great sence of accomplishment. One day I would like a huge garden, with green house's and lake's, and wood's and, and, and I'm going a bit mental now aren't I?
Really looking forward to the show tomorrow, if you want a shout, or question, or something else, just let me know here...

Thank's again everyone, take care and GMaS.

Hey, don't worry about the slackin'. I have been a bit lazy too. Sometimes, a man needs his tan. Too bad you diddin't catch anything. I havent done much fishing in the sea. But when I did, I caught a huge red rockfish at catalina island. It was pretty cool, it had huge teeth unlike freshwater fish. The new song is gonna be really good. I have a hunch. I can't wait. My mother's pond has been strenuous as well. The water level hasin't gone down all the way so we can't get started digging it out. It has also been a bit hotter- mid 80's. You're not that mental- I'm the one who wants to become a rock star. Yeah, theres a slim chance to that. Worst comes to worst, guitar will just be a hobby. I'd like a shout, but I might not be able to watch all the way through. I'll try my bast though. Beautiful picture of the pier. I need to get to the beach more often. It is just a few miles away, and yet I have not been there in over a year. Its a pity. GMaS (on the show, if you can)!

Well when I get my mansion you can be my gardener, Mikey!
Glad you are chillin' and enjoying life.
Nothing wrong with that!
Can't wait for ITA!
You can say hi if you want, but you already did, so I don't want to be greedy.
Did you know the sweetest sound to anyone's ears is the sound of someone calling them by name?
'tis true.
Have a great show Mikey.
We miss you and Rachel!

Hi Mikey,

I love the colors in your photo.

I can see you living in a place with a huge garden, greenhouses, lakes, woods, animals...you will, someday! You and Rene looked so happy in the woods in the video, tripping along, you reminded me of me and my first boyfriend and the simple times.

This morning while I was walking my dog Polly, I found myself singing "Tourist". See how your songs have a life of their own!

See you In the Attic later today!

Love and hugs, Brina

MIKEY!!! I love to garden as well....I recently found a Bumble-bee nest in the ground near my lavender beds. I LOVE watching those fuzzy guys zoom in and out of their nest like it's an airport. Bees are so misunderstood and I've tried to teach my daughter and her friends that they are so good for your gardens and that they are not out to sting anybody that doesn't bother them!
I've also taught them that not EVERY flying insect with stripes on, is a "BEE". Hornets, wasps and yellow jackest are quite a different breed altogether!
Shout out for the bumble bees, Mikey!!

Ah!! Now I am the MENTAL one!!

Much love to you, Mikey!
Have a great show!!

Hey, Hottie Mikey! (I hope you don't mind me saying that.) Whatever you want to say or play is cool by your fans! Stay stellar ★

But if you really must give a shout, how about a collective one to all of your bloggers above??!! I'm in Indianapolis so I'm cheering for Dan Wheldon & your compatriots at the Indy 500 (although I do have a soft spot for the only woman driver, Danica Patrick, as well as Ashley Judd's husband, Dario Franchitti, a lovely Scotsman.) I wish you were one of the performers at the festivities!

Do not be too concerned about the fish that did not happen...even after your last outing had some sucess.

That "big one" is still out there...and GROWING!

Some of my better fishing days had no fish in them at all...you know what I mean, I am sure.

Hey Mikey,

Mental? You're not going mental. I am mental. I've just done my homework and I can tell you I've gone mental. I'm going to be even more mental if you play "Invisible" on ITA. Mental in a good way, of course. I'm really looking forward to today's show.

Have a great time, Mikey.

Mikey,

When you are opening up for Casbah Club, has there been any thought of having Simon play "Misery" with you?

What were you fishing for at the beach?

Do you have any shows lined up for the Dublin area around the time the Who are playing the festival outside Dublin? My wife and I will be taking a delayed honeymoon in ireland around that time and would love to catch a show.

Have fun on the show.

Mikey, you rocked on Attic, as usual! Loved 'Invisible,' and the song inspired by the visit to your mum's 'tore me up' inside. Just fabulous. You have such a lovely soul. And it shines through in your artistry.

I was also diggin' the cool Vans-inspired shoes! Used to sport the Vans quite a bit & now they've made a huge comeback. I guess I need to update my closet w/ a fresh pair of Vans and 'the ugly boating clog' phenomenon in the States--Crocs! ♭

Caught the loop late (at work again), but good show!!!
Invisible sounded great, although for some strange reason parts of it give me Jim Croce "flashes".............

Ah well - would have caught the show live, but I was helping out with some early re-design work on my new band's website; it should be finished in a couple / three weeks.

Glad the gig went well, too Mate - I know EXACTLY what it feels like to be under the gun in that situation!!! Isn't pressure LUVERLY???

Wow, I haven't checked here in a while...I'm so sad I had to miss the show the other day. My internet was out all of Wednesday - no fun. Well, looking forward to the next show and hopefully seeing you out on the road! Do you think you might play anywhere in NYC when you come around with Rachel and Pete? I hope so! NYC is in desperate need of some Mikey magic. ;o) Hope you're doing well.

Thanks again for the shout out to me & the bees, Mikey!

~Wish you were here to sort out the problem of my neighbor's cat trying to get at the nest of newly hatched robins outside my window. I can't stand guard all day, and the tree is fairly small, so it seems inevitable that this "rogue" ( who otherwise is a very cool cat)is going to get at them sooner or later. Makes me sad...any thoughts?

BTW~ LOVED hearing Invisible. Brilliant song.....

Hey Mikey!

Great job on ITA this week! I love your 2 news songs! You will have to record those and put them up on IAC or on your CD sometime soon.

Glad that your gig went well the other night. Too bad about the blokes talking through your set. You'll have to learn how to tune that stuff out when you perform, but I bet that's hard to do. Just tell them to pipe down next time!

Looking forward to seeing what you and Rachel come up with for Life Aquattic!

Cheers!
