I had a great time on the show this week, Martha was superb and really sweet. I got to play my new song, 'Sweet June', as well as 'Clever Girl'(because Gary said it was going on Attic Radio), and 'Invisible', which I wrote about a year ago, but only performed it on the last show. They all seemed to go well, I'm really glad that everyone enjoyed them, and can continue to enjoy on Attic Radio, thank's Gary.
Done some voice over's with Rachel for the cartoon for IN THE ATTIC, I can't wait to see them, it was really funny.
I'm getting my EP stuff together, there will be six track's and some of my artwork, and it will be on sale at, the WHO merchandize counter, during the tour. It will be great when people can buy my music, I'm really excited.
The weather here has taken a turn for the worse, rain and strong wind's, definitely not beach weather, so me and Rene are plotting up in front of the tv and watching film's today, I love a film day. Tomorrow, I going to see my newest niece Millie, she's my sister Janine's newest edition to the clan, and she is beautiful. Janine is Ryan and Indy's mum and my youngest sister of three, I don't think I've mentioned much about my sister's before.
Hope everyone's having a good weekend, take care all and GMaS.

Woohoo, first comment! Thank you muchly for the shout on ITA.. it was a great show! Can't wait for In The Life Aquattic.. I know you are all excited, and it will probably be hilarious and fun!

Weather's not great here, either, but I just keep telling myself that summer is just around the corner!

I'd love a shout on the next show! Hopefully I'll have some more "nautical themed" cartoons up as well!

P.S: Love the photo! You look great! :)

Ah, but you did tell me once about your sister, Debra, and how she sang to you the "Debra" Lullaby HA HA! I am so glad to hear you will be selling your cd's during the tour. But, Mikey, I am getting a bit anxious about you ALL coming to the states. I hope you really are ALL coming. I mean I LOVE THE WHO!!!!! But, I was really looking forward to seeing the whole In The Attic crew!!!
I know you can't really answer. And Simon indicated that even CASBAH CLUB is not a definite yet, on the US leg of tour. Anyway, I wish I lived in the UK, so I could already hear and see your gigs....we are really LACKING by way of concerts this summer. It is so sad ;(
Anyway, be well...much happiness to you!

Wow, you are so hunky and handsome in leather! Rene is so lucky to snuggle up with you on the weekend. I'm snuggling up to my work right now, but that's ok. It's been a great day.

Your songs are sounding amazing lately. I can't wait for a larger audience to get to hear them. I sure hope they announce the WHO America tour dates soon. I want to start planning!

Do you like Jackson Browne? Sometimes your songs take me to places that feel JB'ish...

Much love to you and Rene,
Hugs, Brina

P.S> Put up some self-portrait shots tonight, and a photo of my sleeping dog Polly, too, at my blog. Fun photos!

Hey Hottie Mikey! (You're still a 'hottie' even tho' the weather's chilly ☺) Sounds like the creative juices are flown'--what films did you & lovely Rene watch? Also, would you ever consider getting on satellite radio to put your cool music out there? Love the pensive photo of you...ever notice how artists just look plain cheesey when they smile & look dead on into the camera?!! Hope the weather improves soon--Indianapolis is FINALLY seeing decent racing weather. Today is 'bump day' at the race track, so we'll see if all those amazingly talented blokes from England qualify for the big day.

Hi Mikey!
Lovely picture....though I can't figure out if you're sad or just contemplative. I love days that give you a reason to stay inside and have movie marathons. I live for thunderstorms. Though, calling into work for a day off due to rain never seems to go over very :)
I just noticed the link to Rene's blog a couple days ago.....She has a GREAT blog! She posts lots of pictures as well. I love looking at pictures. I'll even look at stranger's pictures and be happy!
Hope all is well and that Monday dawns bright, sunny and beautiful for you and your lovely Rene....
Have a great week!

Hi Mikey, nice to see an EP will be for sale. Any T shirts? I watched Life Aquatic the other day and I think you were right when you said one has to watch it twice as I couldn't get my head round it. Not long to the tour now. Getting excited? Mark

What musical format will the EP be in? You and your guitar in the same fashion as "In the Attic" or spruced up with other instruments in a studio session?

"Invisible" was great.

Hi Mikey,

I just wanted to stop by and say hello. No real reason for posting other than that. It's a quiet summertime vibe all around FanLand.

I've been keeping up with your postings and am happy for all the progress going on for you.

"See you" on the next ITA!

Much Love,

Me! I have been a slack blogger, and jeepers you seem a little down. It's the tone or something. Hmm.

I was curious about White Stripe and now I am real curious about Sweet June. My ears are forever geared to hear Lou Reed's Sweet Jane and likewise I can only think of the band the White Stripes. I just wanted to say something and not to start something, if you know what I mean. I'll be around the Who merchandise in Barcelona; I have a friend who wants a t-shirt of your art (for one!).

Is there an address I can send you a copy of my novel ROCK AND ROLL MURDER? I've got a few folks I have to send to in London (such as Ray Davies, 'Rabbit' Bundrick) and I'd like to include you on that mailing.

Email me at with your address. Cheers!

Hi Mikey,

I wish I could buy that EP, but I won't be going to the Who gigs. :(
The weather's very bad, it's been raining for the past few days in Belgium.

Anyway, I wanted to show you this:

First I wanted to make a Jimmy Page doll (I'm into Led Zeppelin). I showed it to Stella and she said it kinda looks like you. And I do agree. :)

I'm looking forward to the Life Aquattic show. Although I don't know if the show will be on while I'm at school.

Take care.
